Don’t forget to turn on CNN if you want some comic relief from cable news.
A clear example of that occurred earlier today, when Marc Lamont Hill offered his thoughts about the Black Lives Matter flea circus.
Specifically, he was responding to Rudy Giuliani’s statement that BLM is “inherently racist.”
While all of us normal folk were raising a glass to Mayor Rudy for having the guts to make a politically incorrect statement that also has the virtue of being totally accurate, Hill had a different take.
He said that Black Lives Matter can’t be possibly be racist because black people can’t be racist.
“To say that Black Lives Matter is racist is bizarre to me,” Hill said. “Not just because black people don’t have the institutional power to be racist…”
Yes, that’s right. He said that black people can’t be racist because they lack “institutional power.”
Maybe one day, when a black person becomes president, then black people will have enough institutional power to be racist.
On the other hand, maybe firepower is more important than institutional power.
After all, the black jackhole who killed five cops in Dallas said that he was specifically targeting white officers. It’s almost like he didn’t need any institutions backing him up to carry out his violent racism.
There’s yet another option of course. Maybe Marc Lamont Hill is a nitwit.
That’s probably the best choice.
