Who would have thought that a leader in the Muslim faith isn’t progressive?
Last night, Greta van Susteren did the job that the rest of the media won’t do. She interviewed Imam Abu Talibah, who runs a website that the Orlando shooter joined.
At least that’s what the police tell us. The Imam denies that he was a member of the site.
During the conversation, Greta asked Abu for his thoughts about the presidential candidates.
Surprise: he’s against both of them.
He opposes Donald J. Trump because he says that the Donald plays too much to people’s ignorance.
On the other hand, his reason for opposing Hillary is grounded in his beliefs as a follower of the prophet Mohammed.
“As a Muslim, I object to Hillary Clinton, though,” he said. “I don’t believe a woman should be the president of a nation.”
He went on to paraphrase Mohammed himself, who apparently said something like: “Whenever there’s a woman in charge, there’s gonna be problems.”
And then he asked this important question: “What if she’s on her menses and it’s time to go to war?”
Hey, if a female president makes the call to nuke Iran solely because she’s on her period, I might be okay with that.
