I don’t usually expect much in the way of common sense from leftist trolls following a national tragedy. Or ever.
So I wasn’t in the least bit surprised to learn that an ACLU attorney was already blaming the Orlando terror attack on Christian conservatives.
You probably heard that the attack was carried about a Muslim jackass who pledged allegiance to ISIS. You heard right.
But ACLU attorney Chase Strangio has decided to reject current reporting and common sense so that he could link the attack to people who think the Bible is the Word of God.
“You know what is gross — your thoughts and prayers and Islamophobia after you created this anti-queer climate,” he tweeted on Sunday morning.
That’s right. It’s the “anti-queer climate” created by conservative Christians that inspired a Muslim, who isn’t inspired by Christians, to kill a bunch of gay people.
Sounds like the ACLU doesn’t have A CLUE.
Ha! See what I did there?
Strangio also tweeted this: “The Christian Right has introduced 200 anti-LGBT bills in the last six months and people blaming Islam for this. No.”
Yeah. Why would we blame Islam when a guy who follows the Islamic religion and pledged allegiance to the Islamic State is the one who massacred all those gay people?
Also, I haven’t read all 200 of those “anti-LGBT bills,” but I’m fairly certain that none of them call for executing homos.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said of everybody who follows Islam.
And I doubt it was Christian conservatives who told ISIS to throw gay men from buildings.
