The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) said that GOP presidential candidate Donald J. Trump is inciting people to commit acts of violence against Muslims.
Wow. It’s almost like Trump is an Imam issuing a fatwa calling for somebody’s death.
Specifically, the troglodytes at CAIR don’t like Trump for telling that story about how Gen. Pershing shot Muslim prisoners with bullets dipped in pig’s blood.
That would probably be a much more powerful story if, in fact, Gen. Pershing actually did that. But he didn’t.
Still, Trump thinks the idea is a-okay. I have to admit that it does seem like an excellent detergent to terrorism.
(That was an intentional misspelling for those of you who are overly anal.)
Here’s what Nihad Awad, CAIR’s executive director, had to say about the Trumpster:
Donald Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric has crossed the line from spreading hatred to inciting violence… By directly stating that the only way to stop terrorism is to murder Muslims in graphic and religiously-offensive ways, he places the millions of innocent, law-abiding citizens in the American Muslim community at risk from rogue vigilantes.
He might have some moral authority to make those kinds of statements if he wasn’t a supporter of Palestinian terrorists.
In fact, Awad might have even more moral authority to make those kinds of statements if CAIR hadn’t been declared a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates.
For now, though, he should probably just keep his fat mouth, that has never accepted non-Halal food, shut.
