Stuart Varney (pronounced “Stauaht Vahney” because he’s from the UK) opined a bit on Fox Business Network about a contemporary case study of the failure of socialism: Venezuela.
“Venezuela is in a state of collapse,” Varney said. “That’s what happens when socialists run out of other people’s money.”
Then, he offered an admonishment for a certain crusty commie: “Bernie Sanders, please take note.”
Undoubtedly, Sanders will say that his abstract, theoretical socialism is far superior to the real-world socialism that maximizes poverty and eliminates civil rights.
And nobody should believe him.
