It’s a day ending in “y” and the sun rose in the east today so it’s likely that the social justice mob is upset about something. This time, it’s because Manny Pacquiao said that gays are “worse than animals.”
Before you crucify him upside down, though, keep in mind the context of what he was saying.
In an interview with Filipino news station TV5, Pacquiao said that “animals are better. They know how to distinguish male from female. If you have male on male, female on female, then man is worse than animals.”
So there you have it. He was just saying that animals aren’t gay.
Still, he made the Unsanctimonious Scolds™ mad because he dared to question the propriety of same-sex lust. The outrage was so great, apparently, that Pacquiao felt it necessary to issue an apology.
I'm sorry for hurting people by comparing homosexuals to animals. Please forgive me for those I've hurt. God Bless! pic.twitter.com/bqjRcWqp8R

No big deal. He’ll be aiiight. So will all the gays who weren’t physically harmed when Pacquiao uttered the allegedly offensive words.
Speaking of animals, though: Pacquiao doesn’t just compare them to straight people. He actually eats some of them. When is he going to apologize to animal rights activists for that?
