A proud papa shared a picture of his blind daughter’s Valentine’s Day cards on Reddit. The image shows pink, heart-shaped cutouts with the word “Love” written in both English and Braille.
The girl made the cards for her second grade class.
The image of the cards has since gone viral, with one commenter noting that it’s NSFM — “Not Suitable For Mascara.”
“My daughter is blind and her grade 2 class is exchanging Valentines tomorrow,” the dad wrote of the image on Reddit.
“The letters are in print so her classmates know what it says,” he wrote.
The dad said that he “proud and humbled” by his daughter’s efforts. She used an instrument known as a Perkins Brailler, a device similar to a typewriter, to make the cards.
