Madeleine Albright has revised and extended her remarks
.She no longer believes that women who don’t support Hillary Clinton are doomed to eternal hellfire.
In a New Yawk Times editorial on Friday, the former Secretary of State (yeah, really) formally apologized for saying that women who don’t align with the sisterhood of the traveling pantsuit will suffer eternal damnation.
In case you missed the news, Madeleine Not-At-All-That-Bright said that “there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other” at a Hillary campaign event.
Now, she’s saying that women who don’t support Mrs. Bill Clinton can have their sins forgiven.
“I absolutely believe what I said, that women should help one another, but this was the wrong context and the wrong time to use that line,” she wrote.
“I understand that I came across as condemning those who disagree with my political preferences. If heaven were open only to those who agreed on politics, I imagine it would be largely unoccupied,” Albright continued.
And if there’s anybody you can trust, it’s a Democrat who talks about how to get to Heaven.
